Samsung’s expected to launch its new foldable phones in July. The company will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. There’s also talk of a Galaxy Z Flip FE, a new competitively priced variant of the clamshell foldable, but it remains to be seen if this device will be launched alongside the two models.
With the launch just two months away, it’s about time that the company starts mass producing the devices. Rumors now indicate that mass production of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 has begun.
Samsung on track for a timely 2025 foldable launch
It was rumored late last month that mass production of Samsung’s new foldable phones will begin in May. This would give ample time to the company to produce enough units to meet the initial global demand.
A new rumor now indicates that mass production of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 has indeed begun. Samsung is expected to conduct an Unpacked event in July to unveil these devices. It’s likely that they’ll hit shelves within that month.
There’s been a lot of talk about the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s chipset recently. Several rumors have suggested that this device will get the Exynos 2500 globally while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will retain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset that has shipped on the Galaxy S25 series this year.
Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything officially about the devices as yet, but we’re bound to see significant leaks in the days to come that will clear up any remaining doubts about these devices.
