Now Huawei is rumored to launch a new triple-foldable next year with better improvements. Tipster SmartPikachu says that the tech giant will continue to update its tri-folding lineup. A few netizens speculated the device’s name as Mate XT 2.
Some people stated that the company may fill all the improvement voids in the Mate XT with the next-gen tri-fold. One can expect stronger architecture and enhanced durability with the rumored triple-foldable smartphone.

Mate XT: first tri-folding phone
The device lands on the ground with a star diamond appearance. It is wrapped in a genuine plain leather material and comes in two colors: Red Gold and Dark Black.
Huawei Mate XT is 10.2-inch tall and has a thickness of 12.8mm. It uses an OLED LTPO screen on the outer side with 1.07 billion colors, a P3 wide color gamut, a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a 240Hz maximum touch response.
It brings the first dual-hinge technology made up of a multi-drive adjuster and 1900MPa ultra-strong rocket steel. The phone sports a tri-lens arrangement on the back with a 50MP primary shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP periscope lens.
Mate XT tri-fold holds a 5600mAh battery with 66W superfast charging, 5W wired reverse charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging.
