Motorola introduced the first smartphone in the Edge 60 series — the Edge 60 Fusion, which became the brand’s first device with built-in Moto AI.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion features a 6.67-inch display. It is a 120Hz P-OLED panel with a resolution of 1220x2712p and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The display supports 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and HDR10+. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The smartphone has an IP68/IP69 rating, which means it can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5m for 30 minutes and powerful water jets. The display is able to detect wet fingers, and the smartphone itself has been tested according to the MIL-STD-810H standard.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is powered by the Dimensity 7300 or 7400 chipsets depending on the region, with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. The novelty has Android 15 out of the box with Moto AI features such as transcription and audio summarization, as well as Magic Canvas, which generates images based on text queries.
The smartphone has a 50MP main camera (Sony Lytia 700C) with OIS and automatic adjustment of parameters depending on the scene. It also comes with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle module capable of shooting macro images. The selfie camera has a resolution of 32MP and can shoot video in 4K.
The device comes with a 5,200 mAh or 5,500 mAh battery (depending on the country) and supports charging via USB-C with a 68W TurboPower adapter.
The smartphone also features a certified Hi-Res audio system, but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. Instead, there are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Other connectivity options include 5G (SIM+SIM or SIM+eSIM), Wi-Fi 6 (ax), Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is now available to order in select countries. The device costs £299 (approximately $390). It will be available in Ukraine in May.
