Oppo’s Breeno AI now offers in-depth execution

 

Oppo introduced a “deep execution” feature for its smart assistant Breeno. This feature allows users to generate professional reports by simply inputting a single sentence.

The deep execution feature is compatible with Oppo’s Find X8 series, Find N5 series, and OnePlus 13 series, provided they run ColorOS 15.0 or higher. Users must update Breeno to version 11.8.6 and enable system-level permissions to utilize the feature.

The assistant uses Oppo’s in-house AndesGPT and ColorOS 15 to perform tasks such as breaking down research and creating reports in PDF and web formats. Users can also view the AI’s research logic and verify information sources during the process.

 

 The evolution from passive assistants to autonomous agents

OPPO’s Xiaobu with “deep execution” capabilities represents a significant shift in how AI assistants function, moving from simple query responses to complex task completion.

This transition reflects a broader industry evolution where the distinction between AI assistants (which support users with specific tasks) and AI agents (which can make decisions and execute multi-step processes autonomously) is becoming increasingly important in product development.

The technical approach of combining ColorOS 15 and the AndesGPT large model suggests OPPO is likely using a hybrid architecture that balances on-device processing with cloud capabilities, similar to how other industry leaders manage the trade-offs between performance, privacy, and battery consumption.

Industry data shows that by 2025, AI assistants have become critical components of business operations across sectors, with organizations strategically selecting assistants based on specific goals and existing technology infrastructure.
