Just in time when Samsung has teased the world the Galaxy S25 edge as well as iPhone 17 Air rumors filling up the air, TECNO has also one up its sleeves.
SPARKing a new world record
The TECNO SPARK Slim concept features a crazily thin 5.75mm form factor. Beneath that chassis is where the high-density 5200mAh battery sits — which can be then topped-up through a speedy 45W fast charging.
For most, that doesn’t sound a lot. But for a phone this ultra-thin, it’s already a big feat.
The exact chipset was not revealed but TECNO promises it’s an upcoming “high-performance octa-core” SoC.
On top of that, there will be a large 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED display. And it’s not just any other display, it features 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 4500 nits of peak brightness altogether. There’s a 13MP front camera on top as expected.
Towards the back is where you’ll find its dual 50MP rear camera system. It’s then complemented by a futuristic-looking, dynamic light band that’s also interactive and enhances the overall shooting experience.
Appearance-wise, the device features a stainless steel unibody and is crafted from fully recycled aluminum using an integrated die-casting process. These advanced materials not only give you a luxurious feel but also, enhance the ergonomics.
AI-powered Glasses
Other than the revolutionary SPARK Slim concept, TECNO will also showcase their all-new AI Glasses. The generic-branded glasses comes in two versions: AI Glasses and AI Glasses Pro.
However, this isn’t just any other smart glass. Powered by TECNO AI, these will have robust AI capabilities such as AI translation, and a wider range of AI applications
The AI Glasses Pro features cutting-edge AR display technology. A touch on its temple or a voice command activates TECNO Ella, the brand’s built-in AI voice assistant.
This allows users to manage eyewear functions, view flash notes, memos, business schedules and more without having to be paired with a smartphone. This makes it a true cloud-based AI assistant.
Other than being a personal AI companion, the glasses also offer AI object recognition, information summarization, tourist information, and business recommendations.
Moreover, the AI Glasses Pro also supports real-time navigation and AR-enhanced applications through its AR display. These are what makes it different from the regular AI Glasses counterpart.
Surprisingly, these are as lightweight as regular sunglasses. That’s all thanks to its magnesium alloy and ultra-light composite materials. There are also two designs in mind: Eyebrow Frame and Aviator Style — which can complement a variety of #OOTD styles.
Creating an AI Future
The debut of these AI Glasses together with their upcoming line of CAMON 40 phones, MEGABOOK laptops, as well as wearables complete TECNO’s “Create the AI Future” theme. For the brand, this is a pivotal milestone in their AI-driven innovation strategy.
