Tesla will develop an update for the Cybertruck that will allow these cars to recognize each other on the road, according to NotebokCheck.
Currently, the Cybertruck infotainment system displays the same vehicles as regular pickup trucks. This issue has caused dissatisfaction among owners of these vehicles. One of them posted a photo of his Cybertruck on Platform X, where another Cybertruck was recognized as a regular truck.
Tesla’s lead engineer, Wes Morrill, stated under this post that the recognition feature will be implemented after the system learns to identify trailers.
Elon Musk has previously stated that Tesla is working on technology that would allow it to accurately identify the models and colors of other Tesla cars. However, this feature remains unimplemented.
