Motorola has a bit of an iffy track record as far as Android updates go, and the company has yet to formally announce details regarding its Android 15 update. However, an initial list has been uncovered.
Android 15 has yet to roll out to Pixel phones, but the update is technically ready for Android devices. Motorola has not announced an update schedule for its rollout yet, but the company seems to be sorting out which devices will be updated.
The folks over at YTechB dug through Motorola’s support pages where the company has quietly added notes to select devices confirming that an Android 15 update is in the pipeline. This includes the entire Razr lineup since 2023, ThinkPhone, and lots of Edge series devices. There are also quite a few Moto G devices set to be updated.
This list probably isn’t all-encompassing, but it’s a good start, and a sign that Motorola is indeed working on the update. As for the timeline in which this will all roll out, it’s a questionn we don’t have anything close to an answer for. Motorola took over a year to bring Android 14 to the flagship Razr+ (2023), so it could be quite a while before there’s actually any action on the rollout.
