Vapor chamber’ cooling tipped for iPhone 17 Pro and Max

Apple may be gearing up for a major thermal management upgrade in the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max widely expected to roll out in September, according to fresh leaks and corroborating reports from multiple industry sources.

If true, the addition of a vapor chamber cooling system could mark a significant shift in how Apple handles performance, efficiency, and overheating in its premium smartphones.

It’s one of the dozen or so enhancement that will form part of the reported “final design” of the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

YouTuber Matt Talks Tech reported that the highly-anticipated premium smartphone from Apple includes bigger batteries, 8K video, and a 48MP zoom, Apple’s A19 Pro chip, Wi-Fi 7, 12GB RAM, dual video, and the addition of a Sky Blue colour.
