If you’ve updated your WhatsApp, you might’ve noticed a slight change, if not – the update is coming.
The update is a small change, while you wait for people to respond, WhatsApp would let you know by displaying the text ‘typing…’ below the person’s name…
The ‘typing…’ feature had become so iconic on WhatsApp that some added it as their status in jest.
So what’s changed?
Now, the app is letting you know a message is on the way with bouncing speech bubbles instead of text.
Some are finding this annoying and asking WHY because when the group chat is popping, so are the bouncing speech bubbles.
Other iPhone/iOS users are not as shaken because iMessage has a similar way of letting you know a text will be bouncing in.
But that’s not the only change, the ‘O’ in ‘online’ letting contacts know you’re active on WhatsApp has been capitalised.
‘It’s a minor change but a mega change for the internet it seems,’ reports Friedman.
