WhatsApp is preparing a new feature called “Broadcast Credit” for Android device users. The new capability is useful for Business account holders and will help them in many ways. How? Let’s learn about this new addition in more detail.
Spotted in the Android 2.25.20.7 beta version, WhatsApp is bringing a new Broadcast Credit feature for Business account users. The new tool is rolling out to limited Android testers for the moment through the Google Play Beta Program.
A new banner on WhatsApp for Business accounts shows a trial feature that says: Get credits every month to send more messages to more customers. It has three benefits:
- Send promos and offers to multiple customers at once.
- Schedule and track message performance.
- Plus, extra messages every month for 6 months.
From the details, it seems WhatsApp is planning to provide certain credits for broadcast messages to eligible businesses every month. These credits will let you send additional broadcast messages to your customers without any paid subscription.
Note that this trial program is exclusively open for broadcast messages and not for regular one-to-one messaging. Also, this program may not be open to all businesses as the company chooses to offer it only in specific countries and accounts that meet the criteria.
